Final Series

For the final series I went to Harbour Island. I wanted to create a post-apocalyptic feeling something like the movie I am Legend. There were some people driving and walking their dogs but for the most part it was pretty empty. The people that live here have their own little town with restaurants and a cleaners. I de-saturated the images to give a dull feeling.

Experimental

For the experimental series I wanted to recreate scenes and color grading from certain movies. I used a lighting kit and Photoshop to achieve the looks. I took pictures of myself and my family in our house. It took hours but I created something that everyone liked.

Portrait

I took pictures of my mom in a hotel room at the Hyatt Regency in Sarasota. I was going for a Film Noir look. I made the background black and white while my mom was in color. I also, upped the contrast on her dress to make it pop.

Built Environment

I went to Harbour Island, RiverWalk, and Memorial Dog Park. It was interesting to see how people spend their Sunday afternoons. I played with colors by using saturation and vibrance.

Place + Experience + Landscape

I chose Hyde Park as my location because I think it is a nice looking place. When I went it was pretty empty, but it was a nice calm place. When I edited the photos I added a blue tint to symbolize the calmness that I felt. I upped the saturation on the photos to make the colors look more fun to represent the fun that people have when they go to Hyde Park. I didn't want to just take pictures of all of the buildings, I wanted to get photos that look cool to me as well as photos of the buildings that make it recognizable.
